Peculiar honeybee products and Services (PEHOPS), is a social enterprise which supports in mitigating the impacts of climate change and promote women’s involvement in business, demonstrate social responsibility, create employment opportunities, reduce poverty, and foster innovation. PEHOPS is motivated in contributing to reducing the severe effects of climate change through practicing aspects of ecology thus forest friendly businesses by specializing in beekeeping and also practicing organic crop and animal husbandry. PEHOPS works with over 850 less privileged households most of which are female headed with an intention to empower women in business, job creation and social innovation in order to uplift the living standards of their households.

Our COMPANY

PEHOPS is fully licensed under the business registration act of Malawi, Malawi Revenue Authority and Public Procurement Disposal of Assets to carry out beekeeping activities. PEHOPs specializes in various services, including the production and packaging of honey, construction and supply of beehives, selling beekeeping accessories, our company provides a wide range of high quality beekeeping accessories to support beekeepers in their endeavors, we offer a comprehensive selection of beekeeping accessories to cater to the needs of the beekeepers at all levels of experience, installation of beehives, and honey harvesting for clients.

We also offer beekeeping training and consultation services, we have trained over 5000 directly and a lot of people in beekeeping through media houses. Furthermore, our company produces other bee products such as wax, lip balms and candles.
